Emily Mingledorff is a Tennessee native living and loving the North Carolina life! She is a 25-year Army wife, married to her favorite soldier. They have three kids - one serves in the Army, one in the Navy, and one in middle school.
Emily is a Dove-Award-nominated writer (
Dove Awards 2016 :: CMnexus) and a seasoned educator with over 15 years of experience in elementary education and children's ministries. Her most recent project is her children's book, The Day the Pumpkin Flew, which landed on twinkl.com's 2022 list of Best Horror Books for Kids, thanks to Aidynsbooks.com! (Best Horror Books for Kids This Halloween - Twinkl).

You can find Emily writing regularly on Medium or WordPress. Her stories range from humorous to gut-wrenching, recounting mistakes, overcoming defeats, facing trauma, and leaning into God's mercy and grace.
